Going Above and Beyond with a Top Client
When we reflect on how we paved the way for success with one of our repeat customers, one moment that defined our commitment to service stands out. When we needed to rush a crucial order, our team pulled out all the stops, burning the midnight oil and working around the clock over a holiday weekend. If that wasn’t enough, our owner woke up at the crack of dawn and personally delivered these parts to our customer half a state away, first thing Monday morning.
When he arrived at their loading dock just as they opened for the day, their team was dumbfounded. Not only did we deliver their parts on time, but our CEO hand-delivered the components and ensured they received full approval before making the trek back across state lines. That isn’t something many other component manufacturers would do.
Needless to say, they’ve been a loyal customer ever since.
Turning a Napkin Sketch into a Highly Functional Component
At KCSP Machine, we welcome collaborative relationships that allow us to bring customers’ ideas to fruition. When a customer brought us a napkin sketch of a medical component, we began a partnership that endured hours of back-and-forth and iteration. We held lunchtime meetings, where we would show him what we made, and he would inspect the piece and suggest additions based on the part’s end use and fit into its assembly. Through a handful of redesigns and reworks, we operated hand-in-hand with the customer to reverse engineer, design, and prototype a component that exceeded their expectations – a part that they still use today.
